Travel Facilities Tax

U.S. Excise Tax
This tax is a small percentage of flights that is applicable to all flights routed within the United States. Also applicable to flights within the Canada/Mexico 225-mile buffer zones.		 U.S. Domestic and International US 7.50%
Passenger Facility Charge (PFC)
This facility charge is a variable fee applicable on per itinerary for improvement of passenger facility at the airport.		 U.S. Domestic and International XF up to $18
U.S. Passenger Civil Aviation Security Fee
This is a security fee about $5.60 per one way based on the total number of passengers boarding the flight.		 U.S. Domestic and International AY $11.20
U.S. International Transportation Tax
This tax is applicable to all flights routed to and from the United States, U.S Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico.		 International US $19.70
U.S. Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Fee
Applies to all flights originating abroad, except Canada, and landing in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.		 International XA $3.83
U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Fee
Applies to international arrivals to the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.		 International XY $7.00
U.S. Customs User Fee

Trips involving multiple cities with a return to your home/city of origin: Up to $100 service fee per passenger, regardless of passenger type.

For certain airlines, a service fee of up to $40 per passenger may be charged.
Nearby airport & alternative date: Up to $50 service fee per passenger.
Fusion Fares: Up to $100 service fee per passenger.
Bookings through the customer care center: Service fees for bookings made through the customer care center (including round-the-world or complex multi-stop itineraries) may be higher than those for online bookings. Fees range from $10 to $200, with senior citizens charged up to $100. Premium package benefits are included for Contact Center bookings.

  1. Airline Refunds/Future Credits:

    • All airline refunds and future credits are governed by the fare rules, policies, and procedures of the respective airline.
    • Service fees for changes, refunds, cancellations, and future credits are applied on a per passenger, per ticket basis.

  2. Service Fees:

    • All post-ticketing service fees are non-refundable and may change without notice.
    • These fees are in addition to any charges imposed by the airline or other suppliers.

  3. Government Taxes and Fees:

    • Government-imposed taxes and fees may change. You will be charged only the final total amount displayed or quoted by our agent.

  4. Refund Eligibility:

    • Most airline tickets are non-refundable. Refunds are only available if the fare rules permit cancellations and refunds, and if your request for a refund is accepted. Refunds may not be processed if you are a “no show,” as such bookings typically do not qualify for waiver from suppliers. Refunds are contingent upon obtaining necessary waivers from the suppliers.

  5. Future Credits:

    • Future credits are subject to the airline’s fare rules, policies, and procedures. Most airline tickets are non-refundable.

  6. Special Services:

    • Special services are provided upon request and are subject to review and approval by the airline, as well as their fare rules, policies, and procedures.
    • Fees for special services are charged when the service is provided and will only be refunded if the airline denies the request.
